Maggie Sansone's Celtic-Renaissance (Duo, Trio and ensembles with singers and Irish Step Dancers)

Features America’s premier recording artist Maggie Sansone on hammered dulcimer both solo and with Celtic harp. Ensemble can be expanded to include: classical or acoustic guitar, flute, fiddle, cello, Irish drum (Bodhran), Irish singer , Irish step- dancers. Maggie can arrange an ensemble to suit the needs and budget of the client.

Maggie's trademark energy and joyous spirit and the elegance and beauty of the music and musical instruments will put a smile on your face!

The music is drawn from Irish and Scottish jigs and reels, waltzes, familiar tunes, hymns, Renaissance and medieval times; and a few classical favorites (Bach’s Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring, Pachebell’s Canon in D). Popular tunes can be added to the mix for variety or upon request for a special moment or weddinhg waltz. The ensemble can perform in period costume for special themes: Renaissance, Scottish (wearing of traditional Scottish kilt), Early American (Colonial or Civil war era). Maggie and her ensembles have performed for weddings and events for over thirty years.

High energy Irish band with championship Irish step dancers or vocalist to lead a sing along for St. Patrick's or a holiday party's can be added.
